So, can anyone help me figure out how to put this banner at the top of my webpage? I've tried and failed.

Yessir. Go into your template and replace $BlogTitle$ with img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/2377/921/1600/BannerSoft.0.jpg"
You'll likely haveto make additional mods. Find me online if you need help! -
