Here's a thought:
Do you know of any homosexual poker players, either professional or personally? I don't.

I guess it depends who you ask. If you asked my wife, she'd probably say no, but if you ask anyone, and I mean ANYONE I've made fun of in my blog, they'd say they know of one.

Actually, Mow, this topic has been on my mind for a good week or two. I was thinking about how poker brings diverse groups of people to the table. You have Jews, Blacks, Christians, Atheists, Indians, people of Middle Eastern descent, girls, guys, and a whole lotta Asians all playing this game...but where are all of the gay people? It just seems weird to me.
I don't want to sound prejudiced, but there must be some reason, and I think it has to do with the traits that are common amongst poker players. But can it honestly be said that homosexuals generally aren't competitive (or some other poker-necessary trait)?
I don't know. But its an odd thing. An odd thing indeed. - At 6:13 PM, said...

Haven't noticed any effeminite dudes at the tables, but I suspect there are some closeted folks out there.
Plus lesbians, of course.
However, you have to admit, you see a higher proportion of man-breasts at a poker table than in the general population. - At 8:02 PM, said...

THanks, Pocket Queens. I have to say it though: you have to question the legitimacy of a site that mentions an article on Daniel Degreanu. Yep Degreanu. Is that some sort of homosexual joke, because I don't get it. How about Daniel Negrabu or Doyle Bunsman.

The gay poker players are in Los Angeles. They play at the largest card club on the globe (a.k.a Commerce).
And yes, I'm not joking. - At 4:32 PM, said...
