It's really quite amazing how easy I can find myself thinking/saying 'yep, he's got me beat' as I call one last bet. I've gotten better about not doing it, though, which is always a good thing.

When I'm watching a hand I'm not involved in, I can almost always tell who is going to win just by watching the betting. Why can't I do that when I'm involved in a hand? Self-disciplined is underrated.

Is that how it is in life also?

I think this is a pretty weak strategy. It seems better to look him up as many pros do that. There is also pot odds where if you even have the slightest chance you might win, then you probably have the pot odds to call. Are you a beginner or something?
